Only in DC

As part of the Mayor’s initiative to reopen DC, I was tasked with developing a series of activations across the city to support the recovery of multiple local industries. I identified District Fray Magazine as our marketing partner and co-producer, and I worked with them to develop a comprehensive local engagement strategy. These were among the first events to take place in in DC after the pandemic ban on mass gatherings was lifted. At this time, it was unknown how audience behaviors would change following the pandemic. These events not only contributed to the larger mission of promoting local tourism in DC, but they revealed critical data points about the changing landscape of the events industry.
